At Murrumbeena Primary School, we are proud to be a welcoming community where curiosity is encouraged and learning has real purpose. As an International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme school, we follow a framework that helps children build strong thinking and lifelong learning skills, experience high-quality and consistent teaching, and grow as curious, reflective and independent learners.
It also supports students to develop a strong sense of global awareness and responsibility.
Our approach blends explicit teaching with inquiry-based learning so students build solid foundations and also learn how to apply their knowledge in meaningful ways. This helps students take ownership of their learning, stay engaged, and develop confidence in themselves as learners.
Working in partnership with families, we aim to support children to become capable, connected and caring individuals, ready for
their future.
